ClojureBridge NYC Code of Conduct

The goal of ClojureBridge NYC workshop is to provide a friendly and empowering learning environment for every participant. We want everyone, independent of their background or skill level, to feel comfortable to learn and participate on equal footing.

We fully endorse and will enforce the Code of Conduct by BridgeFoundry, the umbrella organization for ClojureBridge.

On our end, we expect all participants – attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers – to be courteous, kind and committed to maintaining a risk-free setting conducive to learning during the workshop as well as during any workshop-related social events and online communities and social media.

Anyone who engages in disrespectful behavior may be expelled from the event at the discretion of the organizers. Further actions may also be taken, including banning of that individual from LispNYC group as well as informing a wide range of other programming communities about the incident and the person involved.

Please bring any concerns to the immediate attention of the organizers, or contact any of these people:

We thank you for your help in keeping the event welcoming, respectful, and friendly to all.
